For those of you who don't know about the awesome series of books written by Derek Landy, I seriously recommend you pick up the first book and read it. Skulduggery Pleasant is a kick-ass series, full of kick-ass characters. It's easily my favorite series of books, and I'm eagerly awaiting the fifth book "Skulduggery Pleasant: Mortal Coil".

The two characters in the drawing are the two main characters, both incredibly bad-ass, Skulduggery Pleasant and Valkyrie Cain. Skulduggery Pleasant is a wise cracking detective, a powerful sorcerer, and yes, he is dead. Valkyrie Cain, also known as Stephanie Edgley is his sidekick. Together the two solve crimes, save the world, and fight evil villains.
