Summary:
In the days after the Storm Kingβs Assault on Canterlot, the elements are happy to return home to the quiet of Ponyville, doing their best to forget the stress of the whole fiasco, save for Tempest Shadow accompanying them, for she had nowhere else to go.
However, not everything is easily forgotten. As the days pass, Twilight grows increasingly withdrawn and reclusive from the five ponies she treasures most. As Spike had remained in Canterlot for a few weeks and Starlight had gone home from the festival with Sunburst, Twilightβs closest friends ask Tempest to find out what is troubling her.
So, one windy night, Tempest approaches Twilight on the balcony.
A/N
So yeah, trying the whole comic thing again. Between The Stormy Road to Canterlot and My Little Pony: The Movie, I've fallen head over hooves for Tempest's character. (She's dethroned my best pony, Luna, to become my new best pony. Which is impressive, because Luna has been my Best Pony since Episode 1...)
So have my first attempt at a normal comic. And a totally new character shading style.
Please let me know what you think, it may determine weather or not this gets continued, depending on how much people like it. I have ideas for a continuation past the little chapter I've written a script draft for, to.

Cit. βShe's dethroned my best pony, Luna, to become my new best pony. Which is impressive, because Luna has been my Best Pony since Episode 1...β When I read it, I was incredulous and speechless... It's the same that HAPPENED to me!!! Luna is fantastic but Tempest has something more... I loved her so much that I even read the book The Stormy Road to Canterlot (it's the only MLP Book I read and there are also about Luna...)
I'm truly looking forward to the comic, I really like your art style! We also have the best couple ever...
Thank you very much for this addition content...Β there is never enough of Tempest's story!!!

Glad you enjoy! I'd love to hear what you think when you get current with this ^.^
I think the thing is that we got her conflict and also *consequences* of her conflict immediately. That's important. Meanwhile Luna was forgotten until Luna Eclipsed, pretty much ignored for S2 finale, randomly out of character irritating in Season 3 opener. Only in S4 and after with the CMC dream trilogy did we start to see her after Luna Eclipsed. And then of course DPDoMS was great, as was A Royal Problem.Β But if you read/listen to Stormy and then watch the movie that's like three hours+ solid of Tempest story. We know how she fell exactly to, which helped.Β

Ow, I never thought about it... but yes, you definitely hit the mark: this is absolutely the reason why you can empathize with her so much! Nice analysis! :)
Aside the book and movie, have you also read the comic (The Movie Prequel #4)? It doesn't follow strictly the book but it's a nice βplusβ anyway!

Yay!
I've been thinking about it a looooooot. I also saw the movie three times in theater and managed to get a copy on my laptop. (I'll be buying it properly asap.) so I've been spending a looot of time analyzing. (including frame by frame so I'll be able to do Tempest's fighting properly later)
I have. other characters were good, but Tempest I felt was pretty disappointing after Stormy. I feel like a fifth volume from the hippogrifs prospective when Tempy attacked them would have set the stage perfectly

Unfortunately I have to see on my PC because in Italy it will be release in December... I've planned to see it in theater and buy the DVD asap too! Anyway I believe that in English is better because it's the βoriginal versionβ and in the translation there is always something lost in the meaning. Not to mention the team of original dubbing... much more famous and talented!
Nice to know, I'm very looking forward to Tempest's fighting!
You are right, Prequel #4 was too βsimpleβ for a character like her: a fifth volume about the attack in Hippogriffia would be so EPIC!!! Unfortunately we don't have it :/

The Princess of Friendship avoiding her friends? That's as ridiculous as the Princesses of the Sun and the Moon switching jobs for a day, or the Princess of Love hating changelings!

I can't speak much for the storyline as I am not particularly familiar with the My Little Pony canon, but the art work is absolutely breathtaking.Β There is a bit of an over-contrast with the shading, but this seems to work in a fascinating way as it makes the artwork seem more real and dynamic than a more muted shading would allow.Β It also directs focus on the characters involved as opposed to the scenery and background.Β The placement of the characters and the text also makes for an easy determination of the flow of the story, which is something that many comic writers often get wrong, but you have managed to present masterfully. I certainly look forward to seeing where this goes. Β

Haha, I first was planning to blur the shading but then I was like "...wait, this looks cool!"
Really glad to get some feedback, I've been working on this for thirteen hours strait since I got the idea this morning
