Description Ezmeralda channels her magical stream into the orb of the ages. Merlin would be proud of her, if he could see her now. He's off in Camelot dispensing his wisdom to King Arthur before he goes to battle.

PS: Something odd is going on with my
Critique area. I have not seen it for over a year, and now it suddenly appears. I know I had a painting on here, but I cannot see it, only the name, and no comments but one that I just left, as I wondered what is going on. Sorry for any confusion I think da has gone a bit error odd. Hope this clears soon.

Look at these lovely stock accounts for the stock used in this picture:

I get such an otherworldly feeling of mysticism and adventure when I view your artwork. All of them are so alluring and so well composed and done with such loving care. They make me want to have a daydream in hopes that I might find my way to one of your enchanted locations. I wonder if you dream of these idyllic scenes, if so you can act as my tour guide if we, perchance meet there someday.

Merlin's Apprentice is yet another lovely edition to your collection. The coloring is flawless. The blue and lavender tones against the ochre and browns of the stone archway blend together perfectly. I, myself love the use of entryways, arches and doors. To me they represent an entrance into places where the spirit may roam freely without constraints or prohibitions. Does that make any sense to you? I feel that it must.

Overall, this artwork is stunning and I am captivated by its beauty. You are indeed an imaginative and creative person.

Thank you so very much for such a lovely comment. I appreciate every word. Yes, I agree with you about the magical ambiance and how archways hold a type of whimsy perhaps. A freedom for the spirit.

The Arthur legend has always interested me. When I saw this stock, it came to me. I feel the view through the archway could be a glimpse of Avalon. I like your perception about this piece. It makes me feel honoured that I did my job well enough to give any kind of a perspective as you have.

Thank you again for an assessment that truly made my day.

You are most welcome! I am not the greatest person at getting my meaning across so it pleases me that you grasped what I was trying to say. I talk much better through my artwork or actually talking to someone. Have you seen my two latest pieces using the female nude form. This idea has been in my head for a few years now and I finally have a way to make it happen. I hope you do not find them distasteful. I am glad that we are friends. It is nice to communicate feelings to another artist. I hope that doesn't sound weird, but there have been precious few people who can look at my work and just go where their feelings feelings and emotions take them as opposed to trying to figure out what my ideas or intentions were. It is a very pleasant surprise. I like sci-fi as well as all that Arthurian Legend stuff. There is quite a bit more to me than that but I will not invade your personal space.

Hi again. I was away for most of the day, and just found your reply. I am so very behind. I am happy you feel we can communicate on the same level. Very nice to hear, or should I say read? Yes indeed, it is nice being friends. No, I haven't seen the nudes. I have a filter control on my account, because of some violent pictures I came across. They were so horrible that I reported them, and they were removed. Some of the items on this site are disturbing to say the least. I hope you never see them.

I have a layout in my mind for some of the next art pieces that will end up as stories in the future. At least that's what I am thinking of at the moment. Well, it is quite late and I need to get to sleep. Talk to you later. Good-night

Hi Ivonna,

I was happy to hear from you again as usual. I comment because I do not like to take my friends for granted. Most people that do replies here and other places such as Facebook seem to just write a sentence or two, not even a hello or a goodbye. I guess I am a bit old school about that that. When people send me an Instant Message on FB without a Hello, How are you first, I will not answer back. Silly of me, I know. But that is me and that is how I am. I was saddened by the fact that you cannot see my latest artwork so I am sending you a link to my FLICKR site where you can browse them in anonymity. I would love to hear about your new art pieces. On FB I have several total sets. One of them, a set called "Theater of the Absurd" I liked so much, I made it into a calendar. I will send you a link if you care to see them. Are you on Facebook perchance, I would assume not!!

Talk to you soon,
d

Hi again,

Thanks for the reply, David. I have a horrid headache today. I will look at your work. I just cannot give a very good evaluation or appreciation for much of anything now. When I feel better I will tell you what I think.

See you later ...

Oh, and I didn't mean to say your work would be horrible. It's just when you add a filter, it filters all mature content of any type to the best of my understanding. Nothing personal. However, it may have sounded as though it could have been. It's ;ate and I am tired. I will talk to you later. Bye again.

Something odd is going on with this thing. I can see it and then it goes away. ?? What after two years time it comes back??? Computers are odd; I think my
Critique section is damaged. I can only see one box, and not the art work or anything else. da has glitches?

Really nicely done! Out of curiosity, what software are you using for your work? If its photoshop I highly recommend holding down the shift key when you resize images from the corner, it keeps the width and height in perspective to each other so you don't end up with oddly proportioned people or elements
Thanks for using my stock!

Thank you, I am glad you like it. I really appreciate the tip about the size proportion. That has been somewhat of a question for me. I am happy you told me. That helps a lot. Thanks again.
