-- You may reblog this at my Tumblr here --I had a lot of fun with this creature design, so much that I added more notes and action poses than I had intended to originally. It's sort of a cross between a lizard, horse, goat and giraffe. And armadillo.
At first I thought the lizard-like head and the tongue were a bit disturbing, but I eventually grew to think of my creature as being kind of... cute. @u@
Also, it GLOWS IN THE DARK. xD

i think you can mount one. just balance a saddle on its neck or somethin.

Little known fact: Makes a terrible mount for the following reasons: As a rider you can hardly look around its neck plus it's almost impossible to find a long enough saddle belt to fit around its belly and even if you find one the sharp talons will soon shred it. And don't even get me started with the head gear and how to make the equilus bow their heads so that you can put it on.

It's so majestic and beautiful and adorable and tall! And the colors - simply beautiful.

It really is cute and a good design, the colours fit it too, although I wish it had a different colour as a contrast somewhere, maybe on the end of the horns.
