here’s another set of characters !! this time they’re pantalan dragons, and their stories are all related.

1.) SilkWing - Zicrona: a shy, small (and beautiful) servant who was put to work at an early age with her poor family. Life was hard, as expected for a SilkWing born during Queen Wasp’s rule, but she always manages to keep a positive attitude. She meets a male HiveWing (Dauber) while running some errands, and ends up befriending him as he comes across as a sweet dragon.
They usually meet for tea or just to walk around the city, and their bond continues to grow. Things change after the attack on Bloodworm Hive though, and Zicrona becomes lost in the mayhem while attempting to escape the collapsing hive. Panicking, she follows a blurry group of dragons into the unknown and wanders for days in search of help. After some time, she meets a male LeafWing (Hibiscus) once she gets too close to the Poison Jungle.
He offers to help her home, and they head back. Hibiscus can only take her so far (bringing her to the plains where the Hives were clearly visible against the horizon), but they promise to reunite again.
Zicrona, fascinated with her new LeafWing acquaintance and his willingness to take her home even when doing so could risk his life, started to fall in love. Their meetings became frequent, but they fear their relationship will eventually crumble in the society they live in.

2.) LeafWing - Hibiscus: an awkward, goofy botanist specializing in weaponizing naturally dangerous flora within the Poison Jungle. He grew up being the socially strange dragonet, but his gift for creating concoctions wasn’t left unnoticed. He was trained young and became a valuable asset to his tribe, especially when he could creat explosive concentrates from common plants.
Following the attack on Bloodworm Hive, he meets a pretty SilkWing (Zicrona) and is instantly infatuated with her. Knowing he could get in serious trouble, or even slaughtered by HiveWings, he still offers to guide her all the way home.
Through all sorts of obstacles, they reach their destination and promise to meet again when the dust settles.
It only took a few times for them to fall in love, but Hibiscus knows in his heart he would do anything for his forbidden partner.

3.) HiveWing - Dauber: a quiet, intelligent royal guard who dreamed of joining the Queen’s army as a young dragonet. Having heard about every nasty LeafWing story known to dragonkind ten times over, he truly believed in his heart that this supposedly vicious tribe needed to be eradicated and he was glad they weren’t around anymore to harm his family.
In fact, he made it his personal duty to ensure no LeafWing out there would ever breach HiveWing borders.
During another boring patrol, he encounters a sweet SilkWing (Zicrona) while she ran some errands. After a less than pleasant interaction between her and some rowdy HiveWing dragonets who attempted to steal her ruby charm, they prepare to attack her (as SilkWings aren’t really protected, and one seen retaliating is automatically deemed a nuisance).
Dauber immediately stops the dragonets and sends them home, snarling that thieves should have their talons sliced off.
The two become friends and begin to hang out often, so much so that he develops feelings for her over time. This disturbed him greatly; inter-tribe relationships are forbidden and the punishment is a not-so-quick death, and the thought of him shaming his family ate him alive. But, he couldn’t stop his emotions. She was so caring and gentle, so unlike everything he was accustomed to.
These clashing thoughts only worsened when Zicrona disappeared after Bloodworm Hive burned down, assuming she perished in the destruction.
A few days later he finds a very alive Zicrona sneaking back into the Hives, this time with a real LeafWing. One that is obviously in love with her as well.

i might add more to these stories or give up these characters later on idk yet,, but yeah lol
