while Color Splash looks more like actual Paper, Super Paper Mario is larger.in the beginning, I didn't realize that the graphics being good meant how they looked rather than size.

The Colour Splash sprite looks better in my opinion. It is smaller, but it looks more polished and hasn't got as many colours leaking. When people are saying the graphics are the best, they mean as a whole, not just the size of the sprites. Colour Splash is the first Paper Mario game to look like actual paper, it's really realistic.
Just one more thing about your description. "screw your gameplay ttyd fans, Paper Mario isn't and should never be about gameplay" Paper Mario TTYD and Super Paper Mario are games, not movies. A game needs good gameplay. What if Super Paper Mario had gameplay similar to Sticker Star?

also, when I said that about the gameplay, It was meant to be some way of telling the bad side of the fandom that Paper Mario doesn't need specific gameplay to be good, because you got the bad side saying that Super Paper Mario is trash because it's a side scroller.

So your complaint is more that as long as it has good gameplay and a strong story, Paper Mario doesn't need to have the same battle system. I agree that it works as a side scroller RPG and that some people shouldn't complain just because it's different. Some people do have problems with the gameplay as well and I agree that it isn't flawless.

The battles would need to be changed, other than that, its fine where it is.
