Awesome! I saw this posted as a tutorial a few weeks ago and your advice is what I'm working on now to draw a picture of a Ferrari using the techniques you described. And here I am today, fumbling around DA, checking out your awesome artwork, not even realising that you did the Corvette that has inspired me so desperately!
If it turns out half as good as your 'Vette I'll be a very happy man and I'll be forever indebted to you as my teacher! Golfiscoolrules!

It's very detailed, I love the lighting effects, especially the back window of the car. But the most amazing thing is that you managed to squeeze all of that detail in the wheels while still making them look refined, on a 9x12 piece of paper. That is the one thing that always gets me, the wheels. >_<

Holy cow, I love corvettes and you did an awesome job with this picture! There's a variety of lighting, you did a great job with the highlights. The blending is very nice too, the soft shades make it more realistic than that of an overly grainy pencil.
