Well, it's finished. I actually don't mind how light the drawing is now, although usually my drawings are darker than this. I drew this picture of the lovely . You can find the reference picture in her gallery, I have a pounding headache right now and don't feel like going and looking for it. I could have spent alot more time on this...I sort of got lazy at the end. Sometimes that happens when I am not really attached to the subject. All in all though I think it's a decent drawing.12"x18" Fabriano Hotpress

The shine on her eye, lips and ear gives this drawing a really great realistic look. Shadow and highlight on the white of the eye really adds life.

damn Brian, you improve so much with every piece you do... this is stunning, i'm thinking its one of the best you've done. You've mastered every single little texture, the reflections in the eyes amaze me... i wish i could give you a little constructive critisism, but i cant find one damn thing wrong with it! the face looks a bit flat around her jawline maybe? or is that just me? a little more shadow around there could help.
Stop being so good! you're putting all of us to shame! haha

i really love how you do hair in pencil drawings -- mehh hair for me has been a trial and error type of thing. for hair to come out successful in my drawings...theyre probably just good accidents
