Ru got a bit of a makeover since he's already 19 years old..! Spinemon hasn't changed expect for, well, obviously gaining the ability to Super Evolve into EngineSyrmomon!

Spitfire's Battle Strategy: Ru coordinates Spitfire's attacks and gives commands to his digimon, but he also trusts their own judgement and the digimon aren't completely lost without Ru. Ru likes to strategise - preferrably in advance if possible - but can come up with plans in the heat of the moment, too. Spinemon/EngineSyrmomon and his various Xroses are Spitfire's main fighters, but when situation calls for it, Ru won't hesitate to switch another digimon into battle, often relying on Proelidramon and Urumimon. Barghemon is used for transport. Ru also has a tendency to switch Xroses rapidly if the situation calls for it, for example first using SpineBeemon, then realising the opponent is too fast and switching to EngineSyrmomon AC, and so on. Ru tries to avoid tiring Spinemon too much with constant Xrosing though, unless he suspects the battle might be short. Ru will ride his digimon to battle if it doesn't compromise the fight so he can get a better idea of the action.

Personality: Calm and collected, Ru likes to plan things ahead and rarely acts out of impulse. He's a kind person, and others would say passive as well, since he likes to take things slowly, and sometimes he's a bit too kind and lets others walk all over himself. He's very loyal to his friends, and a bit shy around new people. Justice and protecting others are really important things to him, and the only times he usually acts impulsively are when someone is in danger.
History: Ru's life wasn't all that exciting until he got transported into Digital World at the age of 16, and quickly formed a digimon army called Spitfire together with a digimon he'd partnered, Spinemon.
Two years ago, Ru hosted a tournament in the Digital World, together with Toni Mård and Alice Hunter. The purpouse of this tournament was to gather strong generals to defeat UltimateChaosmon, who was threatening the very existance of the Digital World, as well as another rather nasty nuisance, Asmodaimon. The three generals, teamed up with Levian Gilles and Xue, entered the Dark Area and defeated UltimateChaosmon, while a group of other talented generals defeated PrinceAsmodaimon in Uplink City.
Life has been a bit more leisurely for two years now, and Ru's focused in studying. However, something new and exciting has suddenly happened; something called DigiQuartz has been created. This seems like a good opportunity to host another tournament and have some fun...

Spinemon
Name Origin: English. Spine.
Level: Child.
Attribute: Vaccine.
Type: Beast.
Family: Dragon's Roar, Nature Spirits.
Attacks
* Spine Bomber - sets the quills at the tip of his tail ablaze and shoots fireballs from it.
* Panzer Quill - rollouts into the foe. Might also set himself on fire.
Personality: Spinemon is a brave digimon who won't think twice before accepting a challenge. He never gives up and never surrenders. Very lively and enjoys being the center of attention. Having a fiery personality, he's also quite temperamental, and is easily irritated - though it takes a lot to get him really, REALLY mad. Has a strong sense of justice, and will never turn his back on those who need help. He admires his partner, Ru and is really proud to be his partner, looking up to him like a big brother figure.
Trivia: Porcupine-shaped digimon with spiked armor covering its body. It's usually found on hot areas like volcanoes. Although it's not that special yet, Spinemon is said to be a digimon with great potential. It can evolve like a normal digimon, but if it's used as a base of DigiXrossing, the results will be amazing.

EngineSyrmomon
Name Origin: English, engine. Syrmosaurus is the old name for Pinacosaurus, a medium-sized ankylosaurid.
Level: Perfect.
Attribute: Vaccine.
Type: Cyborg.
Family: Dragon's Roar, Metal Empire.
Attacks
* Fire Booster Knuckle - fire and smoke spouts out of the holes on his hands and collar, his hands become covered in flames, and he proceeds to beat the foe with fiery fists.
* Tail Hacking - physically attacks the foe with the sharp Chrome Digizoid axe on his tail.
* Spine Missile - shoots the spikes on his back and neck at the foe as heat-seeking projectiles that explode on contact. Shot spikes immediately grow back, so EngineSyrmomon isn't left naked without spikes.
Personality: The same as Spinemon, really.
Trivia: Spinemon's Super Evolved form, it's a reptile-like digimon with sturdy armor and fire generators located on its forearms and neck area. It is strong and durable and though it's not all that fast and can't fly, its Spine Missile attack allows it to cover a lot of ground in a fight.
