Ada looked at the card in her hand and then shifted her eyes to Korrimon. She wasn't really sure how to feel about Korrimon "evolving to Adult", even if she had learned what those terms meant for the digimon.
"What do you think? Should we use this?" Ada asked from Korrimon.
Korrimon nodded and rolled their hands into fists.
"The digimon attacking the temple are too strong for us to fight if we don't, and we have to fight them, right? We can't just let the temple be destroyed. Besides... I'm quite eager to see what will happen when I evolve", Korrimon said. Though they smiled as they mentioned evolving, to Ada Korrimon also looked a bit nervous. Or perhaps... Just trying to contain their excitement?
"Right, we have to help", Ada agreed and took her digivice out of her pocket.
"Card Slash!" Ada yelled as she slashed the card through the device's port.

Part 2

Yeaaaaah!! Part 1 of my entry for the Empress event!
Since this is the first time our digimon can evolve, I really wanted to make an evolution comic! But that hardly counts as an entry on it's own, so there's also Part 2 which is a splash page.
I had a blast drawing this! I tried to match the style of Digimon Tamers's evolution animations (since that's what I expect we'd have in Arcana, with all the card slashing and stuff) so the shadings are trying to match that as well, being pretty bold and concentrated!
