Final render of my two Lokis, one in full costume regalia and the other one looking so GQ. Since I had already done a detailed version of two Lokis before (see TwoLokiLibertyTorch), I wanted this piece to be its opposite, to really be simple so I made the background just a green rectangle (I might actually revisit this rectangle again and give it more life). I'm also a fan of James McKelvie and envious of the simple way he renders his drawings; it seems to be just the base color, a darker value of the same base color, blacks and highlights. So beautifully efficient. I wanted to try a similar approach and you'll notice that there are no blends in the rendering (at least, I hope so). I also tried to render the faces a little bit more so as not to copy too much of Mr. McKelvie's signature style.
