You made something that has got to be uncomfortable at best - if not painful - look elegant. I don't know if the pose is original, but I've studied art for 28 years, and I've never seen it. It's too bad the pose is stealing the limelight from a really good photograph. I dig the lighting choice and b&w was a great choice.
But I can't get over the pose and have to mention it again. I am going to follow you, hoping to see you do more with this idea.

Thanks for that. The more I look at it, the more I'm going to make a few adjustments and shoot it again with some subtle changes to improve the lines. Oddly, she told me it wasn't all that uncomfortable. I guess she has a little extra elbow cushion. Because I know my floor is very flat and very hard.

I still haven't closed this tab. I've been staring at it on and off for a bit now, because my initial thought was that you took a photo of a table (in the thumbnails). I REALLY wish there was a way I could have this as my smartphone wallpaper!
I really do hope you plan on experimenting further with this as its an EXCELLENT take.

This is perhaps the highest accolade I could hope for. I don't sell my work. I don't show it in galleries (yet). And I don't submit to magazines or other online publications to show off. What I do and what I shoot I do to make myself satisfied. I also like to inspire, titillate, and influence others. I've always held that my goal is to make someone look at any image for more than 4 seconds. Because in four seconds, you can decide if you like an image or not, and then move on to another. If an image I produce holds your attention for more than that 4 seconds, then you're thinking. And that's all I really want you to do. I want you to see it for something more than it is.... a bunch of pixels on your screen. If it means something to you, then it means something to me.
So I thank you for your attention.

Your work is really inspiring. And I love what you do with the human body. I would love to shoot more like this. But I truly do love this. I shoot for the joy of shooting not to be recognized in magazines or make money. Just the joy of capturing something truly beautiful. Thank you. Thank you. I do my absolute best to come up with things I've never seen before. It's increasingly difficult to create truly unique things lately. Being able to spend some time with a model who is willing to experiment with me is also becoming increasingly difficult. However, when I DO get someone to trust me, we often make something quite magical.
