Description To be fair, the dudes in the Rumpelstiltskin family do "die" an awful lot. Actually, replace 'Neal' with 'Gold', Henry with Belle, and the comic book with Wuthering Heights and BOOM. Second comic.

lol!  That's very funny.  You know, it's actually true.  They do die/have near death experiences, quite a lot.

Worse than Dragon Ball Z with resurrection, I see.

Hahaha, oh god, not quite that bad. You've reminded me of how pretty much no one ever really 'dies' in the DBZ universe. I mean, how many times was Goku resurrected? Four times? Five? Over nine thousand? (Sorry, couldn't resist )

One time on purpose. He tried to stay dead the second time, but he had to return to life to fight Majin Buu.

Emma: Also, Neal's a firefighter.

Henry: Mom, are you seriously doing this again?

LOL  So true.
People in general have a habit of "coming back from the dead".  Charming, Kathrine, Henry himself, Archie, Neal, Cora, Pinnochio/August...  (I'm sure there's more) Rumple's only really been the only one to do it properly though.

True point indeed.

To be fair, people coming back from the dead happens in a lot of the original fairytales.

True, I suppose that makes some sense. But does it ever happen multiple times to the same character?

I want to say "yes" but I can't remember a specific story where someone comes back multipal times at the moment...  But in Once, many of the characters DO play multipal character roles.  (and when most of them "die" they don't actually die)

Yes, you can excuse Gold's penchant for coming back from the dead because of his multiple character roles and his whole weird deal with magical immortality. However I wasn't trying to suggest that Neal actually comes back from the dead, but rather that Emma keeps mistakenly saying he's dead, then: oh wait, no he's not.

Right...  I kind of got mixed up counting the "deaths" so called but not really with the actual real ones there for a second...
