Description
This is a story that I tried to make a whole while a go but it turned out to be WAY more complex than I originally planned on making it so this is my second shot, I hope you enjoy:

The story begins during the 23rd Worlds Martial-arts Tournament but instead of Tien fighting his former mentor, Mercinary Tao a new figure approaches- the Goon Knight

Goon Knight: "SHINHAN!"
Tien: "Oh Kami, not this guy again..."
Goku: "What is it Tien? Who's the guy who called you out?
Tien: "He's called the Moon Knight, a former Worlds Martial-arts champion and my first rival, he's still mad I bested him since our last fight"
Goon Knight: "That's right, Shinhan, you may have bested me before but I have bested your cyber-enahnced master and I am NOT going to lose to you again! You here me, Tien?!!"
Tien: "Listen, Moon Knight, I have changed! I became a better person since the last time we met so why don't you burry the past and move on"
Goon Knight: "Like hell I'm going to move on! I will NOT forgive for what you did to me! Because of you, all of my organs were ruptured under the broken bones!"
Yamcha: "Welcome to the club, pal."
Goon Knight: "Get yours filty hands off me, light-weight!"
Krillin: "Hey why don't you back off, Moon-guy? Didn't you hear Tien? He said he has changed!"
Goon Knight: "The names Moon Knight, shorty and I'm not backing down from this fight"

Tien Shinhan VS Goon Knight match begins strong, each one of them throwing fistycuffs mid-flight and exchanging Ki-blasts right and left, the two rivals are dead-even but Tiens experience with Turtle School style proves to be superior, until Goon Knight taps into his Lunar reserve of power and starts fighting back with fighting styles of past avatars of Khonshu, overwhelming Tien for a brief moment. Tien scoffs at Goon Knight and unleashes his Ten Witches technique, then cloning and to top it off, after-image technique to counter Goon Knights efforts. The fight comes to its conclusion with both heavily damaged and readying their stronger ki-blasts, but Tien isn't using Tri-beam, he wants to reserve stength to outlast Goon Knight cause he knows it'll be the only sure-fire way to defeat him. As the two fly in air, they blast their attacks at each other

Goon Knight: "You ready Shinhan?! Cause after this you're going down for good!"
Tien: "Bring it on, Moon Knight! I'm ready to humilate you again if I have to! KA-ME..."
Goon Knight: "LUNAR..."
Tien: "HA-ME...!!"
Goon Knight: "RAY...!!"
Tien: "HAAA!!!"
Goon Knight: "BUSTER!!!"

The shockwave collission of these two powerful blasts sends each other hurdling towards the ground and both lose the match to a tie

Goon Knight: "Not again. DAMN IT TO HELL! I was this close to winning, Shinhan but you bested me yet again"

Tien: "Hey, at least be happy you drawed me out to a tie, that's an accomplishment in of itself"

Goon Knight: "Eh, I'll give you that Shinhan but I still wanted to win this so badly"

Tien: "Hey, their always be another WMAT, right? So you'll get your chance to defeat me."

Goku: "WOW! And I thought I was Tiens rival! You're a powerful guy, Moon Knight, how would you like to join the Turtle School? You have a potential to be great"

Goon Knight: "Let me think about it (hmm, if Turtle school made Shinhan THIS much stronger it wouldn't kill me to try) fine, you have a deal but I'm ONLY joining to surpass Shinhan at his own game!"

Tien: "That's fine by me, just call me Tien will ya? We all want to be friends here"

Goon Knight: "Nah, the non-friendly rivalry is what fuels me"

Krillin: "Let me just ask Master Roshi is there a place for you"

Master Roshi: "NO!"

Krillin: "But Master..."

Master Roshi: "ABSOLUTELY NOT! Even you lot are too much to handle, bringing along another student will be too much for this old man!"

Tien: "But Master, all of our training is complete, would it really hurt to train another student?"

Master Roshi: "Boys, I want to retire and there is no way on Kami's Earth I'll ever consider"

Goon Knight: "I'll make you run the XXX-Shop if you allow me to train"

Master Roshi: "That sounds too good to be true, you're lying!"

Goon Knight: "I'm the 3d richest man in the world, I can afford one little shop..."

Master Roshi: "DEAL!"

Goon Knight: "Here's the adress just so you know, Master."

And so Goon Knights training started, since he used to be a soldier the physical training was quickly swept and Goon Knights real training started, the Martial-arts and Ki-control that is. Since he already had some knowledge on both subjects, it wasn't hard for him at all to fully complete Roshi's training, so he was sent to Korins tower. Where it took Goku 3 days to complete Korins training and 3 years for Z-Warriors, it took Goon Knight 1.5 years to finish Korins training cause he saw through wise cats tricks and he even drank from real Ultra Divine Water to get stronger but it still left him unsatisfied so Goon Knight went out his way to ask Korin is there anyone else who can train him, to that Korin said there's Kami on the Look-Out but he's goining to need the Power-Pole and a strong willpower to climb up there. Goon Knight asked Korin where is the Power-Pole and Korin told him its at his Master Roshi's place, Goku used to have it to get around. Goon Knight noddded and thanked Korin for his training so he flew as fast he could and explained his situation. Everyone was baffled at Goon Knights progress and Goku wanted to be sure, he tested Goon Knight himself in a fight. Of course Goon Knight lost in the end cause Goku is Goku but at least he proved himself and earned the Power-Pole. After this Goon Knight flew to Korins tower and climbed on top of the look-out with trial and error, there he met Mr. Popo and told him his goal. Kami soon came in and told Goon Knight he'll only accept to train him if Goon Knight is willing to become Kami's replacement as Guardian of Earth, entailing everything there is to being one. Goon Knight was skeptcial but then he heard voice of Khonshu fully encouraging him to become a Guardian Apprentice, it would be the ultimate ellation of his divine side, especially since the Look-Out is so close to Moon. Goon Knight finally agreed and his training started a new at Kami's, being trained by Mr. Popo first of course. It was tough, especially mastering the art of still-movement cause Goon Knight is reckless brute but he pulled through and by the end of DB and start of Z, Goon Knight grew exponentionally stronger, even growing slightly into Khonshu persona as two seperate personalities started melding together during meditation hours under every Full Moon.
