My entry for JustinNuggets ' contest !

I don't like Goodra as much as its pre evolutions because it feels a bit inconsistent, since it throws out a lot of the ideas that made them appealing to me. Sliggoo's dex entry says that it's blind and it senses its surroundings with its antennae things. But then Goodra suddenly gets big anime eyes and uses its antennae to whip opponents, all while having a "punch that's the equivalent of the force of a hundred pro boxers?" Just felt weird to me. I also miss the slug/snail look that Goomy and Sliggoo had.

How I Changed It:
Basically, I wanted to make it a bit more monstrous looking, but still keep a degree of cuteness, as well as bringing back some of Goomy and Sliggoo's designs. I also added more obvious snail and slug elements to the design.
Changed the eyes to be more reminiscent of Sliggoo's eyes, but a little meaner looking (and in a way that it can still look cute-ish)
Changed the antennae to look like a snail's eye stalks, as well as adding little whiskers that some snails have.
Follows Sliggoo's idea and is blind, uses its antennae for sensing surroundings
Limbs are a bit goopier and less developed, because I think that's more fitting for a snail-dragon monster
Gave it a cute frill thing that some sea slugs have to make the design a bit flashier
Goodra's tail now curls up behind it to give the illusion of a soft snail shell. Sliggoo has a similar thing where its little shell uncurls into a tail when it evolves, but I wanted to develop the shell idea more.
Brought back the snail tail that Goomy and Sliggoo have, in addition to the new tail-shell thing
