She was gone. It had been a year, it had been a whole season. Kimberly thought she'd accepted it, but why did emotions swell up in her chest?

Bigger than that, why did she already have Bear, when she hadn't even been a Star-speaker for a whole year? She hated that she couldn't accept the Stars' plan, but she couldn't let go of the idea that she would leave him eventually, too. She'd have to make sure he was ready.

I never did proper art for Leaving | Roleplay , and once the anniversary rolled around I knew I had to do something. This is so much brighter than I intended with the flat background, but honestly I'm happy with these colors.
Kimberly is my most developed and most complex character. She sucks in a lot of ways, but man, I love her so much. She still has a lot of growing to do, and I'm happy to take her through it.
