"Nurse Dogwood, I will accompany you to Land's Edge," Kimberly stated, straightening. "There you will spend the next few days in solitude. You'll be expected to act different when you come back out, but you will not receive a mark of treason-- unless you do something to indicate disloyalty to Heather Colony. I do not want you to be around that border alone. You will be supervised by a guard for a few days. I trust you, Saturn, and wouldn't doubt your loyalty to Heather Colony for a second, but this is the cost."

Saturn bowed his head in respect. "I understand."

Dogwood blinked for a few moments, "A few days? That's it?" Her words were mumbled and quiet, as she was more talking to herself than anyone else.

I did the sketch, background, coloring, and shading, while Crow did the lines-- my artblock is seriously messing with my ability to complete lines, so it was incredible to work with them to get this done! I'm super happy with the shading, too! I tried something a little new, but it's honestly much of the same. It still works in this scene! Hopefully one day I'll be able to complete more scenes like these.
