I get stage fright and get the shakes but it's such a buzz being up on stage! 
And yeah, Stephen Lynch is a comedy singer from Michigan but his stuff is a bit more risque than Weird Al (Who's also good too) I'd say have a listen sometime but (as Lynch says) if your esily offended, best not! Althoug I don't find it THAT bad!

The stage is both a terrible and wonderful place, isn't it? Its odd, but it can be both at the same time... If you think about it.

It's just a bug I picked up and it's been so long since the last band was together - I got fed-up of some friends saying "Yeah, I'll learn drum/guitar/etc" then not bothering at all!
So, I've learned a few nice songs (Jimmy Eat World - Hear You Me being a favourite) and alot of comedy ones and I plan on having another go at the Open Mic nights or variety nights at the Uni bars and local pub/clubs.
It's such a weird urge! I agree!
Fear and fun, I usually screw something up from laffing thru nerves! But it's all fun in the end!

XDD One of my good friends plays guitar.. I picked it up and the drums too, but I can't afford/don't have the time/don't have the patience for instruments. And more often anything else I do. XDD
Too bad we live so far away from each other, I'd love to hear you play sometime. ^_^

Yup, quite a pain!
I got a drum kit sat here gathering dust - I missed my old kit after selling it and bought a new kit with the idea my friend was gonna learn - he had it at his house for about 6 months and never touched it! slightly annoying!
Maybe I'll get a video of me on stage (Or beach parties, they're usually a riot!) and post it on YouTube sometime, lol!
I always learn so much then stop when it gets difficult but eventualy get around to practicing again! Still got a LONG way to go! Sometimes I just give-up to easily when I can't play EVERYTHING at once!

Yeah, I'm in a town house and neighbours have a baby so it's never been set up here! No fair, I wanna play on my drums!!!!
As for learning, i get there eventually! Thing was, a friend who I started practicing guitar with many years back was the type who picked up the guitar and went "if this is E scale and this a G-chord, then you play like this..." and would whip off some amazing solo and pick up ANY song without effort! GIT! But a great friend! (I personally still can't do F chords properly after 10years! Now that sucks!)

I can't do chords to save my life. ^_^;;; Not that I want to, mind you- I had to for two nine-week courses in school.
But that's both awesome and totally unfair about your friend... I wish I had those skills!! DX

Oh, Uni Bar! It's the Bar (as in alcohol drinks, etc) at our University! They have live music and comedy nights, music/dance nights, pool tables, a few arcade and fruit machines, etc! It's pretty kewl (if you've got any cash left out of your University funds that is)
