Finally, someone making a properly horror-y piece of Flutters from that episode. And done so masterfully, too. Composition, depiction techniques (dat light in particular), the right feelings evoked. Great job, one of the best pieces I've seen of this sort, and I've seen many.

This image is so frightening, haunting and beautiful all at once. It looks like it could be a movie poster. You definitely captured the scene from the episode very well, and I think turning them human helps us see ourselves as more in their shoes in this case. It's art like this that stops MLP from being a cartoon and can actually make us see the characters as actual people in actual frightening situations. The horror elements that are so enhanced here make the episode itself a lot darker and I think shows a perspective of fear that many didn't see when it first aired. Very well done.Β
