Description Suddenly noticed that we haven't seen anything in Snaiad yet that resembles our scurrying home-invading "pests"

The Bonk is an extremely hardy Picozoan that has quickly adapted to the apparition of human settlements in Snaiad and as such is one of the most prolific creatures in the planet, living off the refuse of civilization and gaining infamy as a household pest

Primarily nocturnal, Bonks spend their time scurrying around in search of food or mates. Their bodies are oily and nearly boneless, allowing them to squeeze through tight openings and even gain a boost of speed in smooth surfaces. Naturally panicky, they flee with lightning reflexes at the first sign or danger (or bright lights), which leads to the popular view of Bonks as a symbol of cowardice. In some cases they will shed the irritating "hairs" on their backs to further aid in their escape

A frightened Bonk makes a sound like pouring coins and leaves an acidic odor, which means little as many, many creatures prey on them. They can feed on virtually any organic substance, but show a special preference for clothing

"A frightened Bonk makes a sound like pouring coins" ... awesome! I like this idea a lot. Are the 'hairs' on its back there for a special purpose? My only crit would be that it looks like a kind of run-o-the mill picozoan, but I guess that's kind of the point too.

Yeah, that was kinda the purpose. It's not meant to be a outstandish critter, just a simple Picozoan that has made a living in human turf.

The hairs were really just a detail to make it look "gross" and less plain, but I guess they could be irritant and be shed when the critter needs to escape

yeah, that's a good idea ... they look good, of course, nice & grody, but I don't think sniadi creatures really have hair?

Many creatures in the site have patches of "hair" in their bodies, actually
