I do! And I know what you mean. It's something I've been trying to accomplish myself with how I draw characters, while on the other hand I think I'm getting faster at drawing items/blades naturally because I've drawn them so many times now that the nature of how I draw them is becoming easier for me to accomplish without fuss.
Then again... long curved blades will always be my bane...
