Finished it. Finally finished it. My Featherlike.Many months ago, I drew an ms-paint relationship image for 4chan. I submitted it. It got really popular (even frontpage on reddit). And then I was kicking myself so hard for not adding my name to it. Because now people will look at this and be like "OH DAT GUY TOTALLY RIPPED OFF THAT ONLINE COMIC" and they won't realise that it's the same artist

This was good.. but honestly, depressing as shit.
Kinda reminds me of at least two periods in my life where everything exploded and/or crumbled away, much like that. Maybe it hits me harder because I can relate.

I can't decide... is the dream even possible... is it our own mistakes and selfishness that prevent this? or is it just that no two people can be this perfect for each other... is life love or is it just pain? this is really depressing. i used to look forward to the dream in the comic, now i cry inside over having destroyed my chance at it... it's clear i could have had it... if i wasn't such a bleedingly stupid inept complete failure at relationships... and like most good things in my life it's probably gone forever. And this is me on 100mg zoloft, yay.

Veryvery emotive. One of the most touching pictures I've ever seen. I too saw it and went 'wait, I seen that before somewhere, I've got it saved on my computer' but I see now it was you!
Although I love the added effects, the melting, the shards, the variation in shades etc, I prefer your original. I think the original is more bleak and gets the depressing tone of the message across more. Probably because it's black and white. And the sketchy effect of the last one suggests more desperation and sadness to me.
Or maybe it's only because I saw the older one first. Now I'll never know which one emotes more feeling in me - unless we tap me on the head and knock all my memories out, that is.
Let's not do that.
Anyway, I love the idea. Depressive, bitter, angry female that I am. Good work there sah.

i love this little comic soooo much, i got a flash of it and it has a song with it that i really like, do you by chance know it? could you tell me if u do pls. this comic means a lot and it gave me shiffers all over and it gave me a very sad feeling. you are one of the few who puts feelings in their creations these days. very well done

This is truly a beautiful piece. I am most intrigued by the dull, dark colors used even during their "meeting." You'd think bright happy colors presented by nice whether and such would have taken shape within the fantasy.
But it is as if the stormy look in all the pictures was really just the knowledge of this being an unobtainable fantasy, and bitter one at that.

this is the most beautiful strip i have ever scene. i think it really captures the true joys that come with sweeping romance and the true despairs that may come after it. i love it so much, i've shown it to anyone i can.

Even if the drawing style of the comic is cartoony and un-serious, it's really well pulled off to be emotionally affecting. Especially the crumbly swishy bit, and the scene at the bottom just hits it home. Awesome job!

Wow, the imagery is very effective. It may have started from just a doodle, but it seems so well thought out. The transition from the happy-happy-joy-joy into the darkness and loneliness works perfectly in this tall, sort of "descending" format. The art is also appropriately silly

Very touching and sadly very true for some people.
I think people put to much thought into internet relationships. I tried once and it failed miserably.
I've had guys on website profess their love for me after only ten minutes of IM-ing each other and when I turn them down they get depressed and threaten suicide.
Although the internet can lead to so many wonderful things when it comes to other people, it can also lead to alot of bad.
If someone finds true love through the internet than I wish them all the happiness, but on the other hand, I don't think so much though should be put into something so easily manipulated or broken.
