And now it is coloured, it looks simply fantastic. You've captured emotion brilliantly. I love how the signature Victoriano family colour (red) is in the background and the flames at the bottom. A burning past and pain. It's like a pivotal point in the narrative - Sebastian sees Ruvik's pain and can relate to his own, he's reminded of Lily and almost frozen in his pursuit of justice. The past literally and metaphorically burns into both psyches, kindred in nature.
To me, Ruvik in that pose always looks like a hurt child - silently suffering. Like being is STEM isn't just a cage, but torture. Having to relive his past again and again, never ending. Like he's doing this to reach out to others, maybe Sebastian momentarily made him feel less alone in the world and gave him hope, until Sebastian showed him the same resentment as the world around him. Sebastian here looks in deep thought, trying to fight the past. He's constantly reminded of his grief but not trapped. He knows how to move forward unlike Ruben, a man whose entire future was stolen on the same day as his past.

Yeah, it's interesting that Seb can relate to Ruvik: Seb lost his daughter Lily, and Ruvik lost his sister Laura in a fire too. It seems like Ruvik wanted Seb to feel about his past but it's strange that he tried to kill Seb at the same time, "you did this to us." Seb had nothing to do with the fire at the barn where Ruvik played with Laura. Ruvik was such an asshole XD He just loved tormenting people.

He was probably expressing his deep hurt over the losses he's had and just wants someone to understand him the way Laura did. He's like a child, yearning for the attention he really needs. The way he reacts to Sebastian makes me think that he's the first person in STEM who even has any relation and semblance to the man, thus his chance at being understood. His wanting to rid Sebastian is a possible reference to real life cases of trauma victims: the need to connect to someone and be understood, and the fear of reject and loss causing them to lash out and push away others. I guess after seeing that Sebastian wasn't willing to sympathise with him, he wanted him to hurt in the same way. Even then he expresses implications that denote him trying to get Sebastian to see in the same light. He probably feels a connection in that way, maybe an envy that Sebastian came out stronger. An asshole with good reason I suppose. A true sadist. Sorry I tend to ramble ^//~//^

Haha Sebastian was emotionless XD I wish there was more dialogue or Sebastian expressed his own thoughts about what was going on. That would have made the plot much easier to understand. Ruvik is sadistic but I still like him.
