Description
So by the request of someone, I took snapshots of my process in colouring my onion kuja.sorry if some of the stuff is blurry--i used my phone since my camera had low battery--and my scanner--well...got turned into a simple printer. >_>
I know its not a perfect tutorial---I barely have 5 months with copics. But if you do have better reccommendations then they're welcome to be commented. :3
anyways, i hope it helps!!
finished product : [link]
LIST OF THINGS I USED:
90 lb Watercolour Paper (so it absorbs the ink and won't bleed)
Copic markers:
C1, C3, C5 and C7. (Cool Grey)
T3, T5 and T7. (Toner Grey)
0 Colourless Blender (But like I said, you can use alcohol wipes)
Waterproof Inking Pen (I used an Artline 0.2 and 0.6)
The other inking pen in colour is in german, so I have no idea what the heck it says. : ( I just know they're alcohol based---but any other type of ink that is waterproof works too.
And my watercolours. : 3

No problem!!! ^^ Let me add that onto the description since its too much of a hassle to go back into photoshop and retype everything.

okay its up. let me know if you need anything else! Copics are rather expensive and most people tell you to buy them all in a set like C1, C2, C3, ect. Which is bs. I found that skipping every other number works just fine.
Also don't get the colourless blender. That's $6 down the drain because it does exactly what a $1 box of alcohol wipes can do.
And this is all based on just grey copics. Idk if colour copics work the same way. This drawing was done purely in grey copics, so i don't feel the need (at least for me) to get colour copics. I can just go over it in watercolour to give colour, or you can also go on photoshop and edit the colour saturation. Much cheaper for me.
I'd also think of getting the ink refills. I have the refills for T1 and T3, (If you choose to go T0 and T2 thats fine too) since they are the ones I use the most.
They cost the same as a regular copic marker, but you can refill your markers up to 10 times with it, so it's like getting 10 replacement markers for the price of 1.
