You're most welcome Graeme. Haven't been doing much art myself, started work as a teacher's aide at Cooerwull Public School. Too much study at Tafe to deal with.

That's a bit rough, no art, it's all about making a living these days. I am glad I can get what I want out of life at the moment.

I may do some drawing on the school holidays, not sure yet. But yeah, it's been a great opportunity for me, so I took it. Got my foot in the door, now it's a matter of how far I can go with it (my next aim is student disability support).

beautifully done.

love how you have conveyed the feeling of darkness, almost as if she is bathed in the cool, silver-blue light of the moon.

(Yeah, I can imagine your camera/scanner is going to have an interesting time figuring out the balance of colors here, not to mention the details of the deep shadows.)

Glad you noticed that. I have been working on the method to do that for some time and intend to use it more. My next exhibition my be a bit on the dark side.
I think a lot of the problem is my monitor not being true to colour.

Not sure on Windows PC's, but I know that Macs have some pretty extensive color correcting settings.  One friend of mine (Mac user) actually had an app which used a camera to take a picture of a test pattern on the monitor to automatically generate a calibrated color profile, so that you were getting as close to the true colors as you could...
