Gorgeous work. I love this tree.
It represents all that lives in and around it. It's like the home there at that forest, the safe haven and abode for all creatures.

It maks a lot of sense because I want to make people like them so much they would not even think of cutting them down and by making them look like home I think it would work.

Thanks Jessie, when I put the stairs and doors in, it changes the whole perception of the tree, the size, and the age, gives people a warm feeling towards the tree which must be a good thing ah.

what sort of paint did you use?

I almost only use Art Spectrum oils, I find the colours are excellent and consistant and it's painted on linnen thanks sponge bob

It's oil on linnen Vincent as you progress you find you can get almost any effect with oil you want it is so versatile.

i've noticed that you can make oil look just like a water color

I do that with glazing, mixing little bits of pure colour with oil or medium and laying it over the underpainting. Or you can scumble it on dry.
