Bleach savvy viewers will probably get the joke behind this.Everyone else:
Back in the Soul Society stuff, Genryusai fights against Kyouraku and Ukitake. When Kyouraku and Ukitake perform their releases, Genryusai comments that 'those are the only two double releases within Soul Society.' Then about 200 chapters later, Hisagi performs his release and...it's a double...so much for continuity.
Anyway, I've been meaning to post this for a while. Finally got around to coloring it. Enjoy.
Bleach belongs to Kubo.

A zanpakuto can be seen as a manifestation of
someones reiatsu and his spirit. So twin-Zanpakuto means perhaps twin-spirits. And Ukitake's zanpakuto is called "law of the twin fish", so, you see...

Perhaps he simply screwed up his release and ended up breaking his Zanpakutou into two pieces. Later once all the fighting is done someone is gonna come up to him and be all like:
"You do realize you broke your Zanpakutou don't you?"
And he'll be all like
"Nuh-uh, your just jealous because..."
And then he's Zanpakutou starts talking to him and is all like
"Seriously, I'm broke. GET ME SOME F-ING PAIN MEDICATION NOW!!!"
And then an awesome Cow-Shinigami will appear and give everyone free milk...
Milk, it does a body good!
