Yes, they showed it in the anime. But the whole thing came from Karin's imagination, since she was super worried that Kenta would be bitten by members of her family. ...or something, I can't remember the specific reason since it's been so long. XD But yeah, it wasn't canon in the series, it was just something Karin imagined because she was worried about Kenta

Yeah. Its an idea that Karin gets, she thinks that Ren is going to bite Kenta at some point, I think she gets this idea around the same time that Ren decides to try to bite Kenta's mom. XD
