Description

What maybe the remains of an old ship wreak beached many years ago in a bay I use to swim in as kid, The wreak is almost on the beach and at times sits in less then 4 feet of water, not much remained of it back then. Just a section of the main beam and a few ribs. It would get covered over in sand and then dredged back out as storms came and went,

This piece looks to be a small section of the main beam.

It's unknown to me as to it's name or what type of vessel it was, other then the fact it was an old wooden sailing ship of some sort.  Nothing in any historical logs mention anything of it's demise that I've I been able to pin point, just wreaks that came close to but not in this location.

However the bay is shallow and its not to say this wreak is not one of these and got picked up and dragged to a new location, as this piece is now on the other side of this section of the bay from the original location the wreak had been in my youth.

The lake can be a tempest when it wants and I've seen it pick up boulders the size of cargo vans and drag them out and toss them back up on the beach like they had been made of foam. Nature truly is a force to never under estimate.
