This is my second digital painting.
This is a fan made poster inspired by the upcoming movie Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides.

For this painting I used the trailer found here [link] as an inspiration

For the mermaid I found inspiration in a set picture **SPOILER** which supposedly depicts a dead mermaid lying on a beach. The picture can be seen at this site: [link]

I've seen this a couple of times and I can't work out why i haven't hit the 'add to favourites' button before now. This is so brilliantly painted and I love the composition... I am ashamed of myself.

I loved how the mermaids in this movie are creepy and evil, instead of the typical kind that are in movies and such. This is a great poster! Love it!

The object I think you refer to is Jacks hat My screen isn't perfectly callibrated (I think) so it may be harder for you to see on your screen Can't wait to get a Mac btw.

I used to be a pc-type, but I've been using Mac computers constantly for 6 months now at my school and now I only see holes in windows system. Almost everything works more intuitive on a mac I think... and looks better. I won't agree with apple that "everything just works" because from time to time those computers crashed and they are very new, but still they crashed "nicer" than a pc does. My oppinion

True, true. My mom has become an Apple fanatic--she has an iPhone, a Mac, and she always says how she is an "Apple girl". XD Our Mac hasn't crashed (yet) but hopefully never will

Thanks for the comment I've added it as a print now. To give you the lowest price possible I've lowered my profit to only 1% Can't get any cheaper than that. Still though... Deviantart is expensive!
