Description
Adobe Illustrator CSThis is my first pin-up work.
using gradient color and mono color
1. scan ref-photo
2.be stronger contrast and upper brightness from original photo (phootoshop)
3.trace all parts by vector line (Illustrator)
4.put on color by my idea (Illustrator)
next step use more gradient color and make more object
then some day try to use feather tool and transparency tool

Interesting workflow and results especially for not using gradient mesh.

I kind think u've been asked this so many times but could you do a "speed painting" of one of ur works? I'm very much interesting in your work. Thanks either way. And I'm glad to find someone like you who does "the same but different"

I don't have "Speed painting". I use the program only "Adobe Illustrator cs2"

Very easy on Adobe Illustrator. You can erase the line by tool window.

Really nice tutorial but the thing with brightness and contrast would be easier to understand with a picture to see the change.
