Thanks for the post! I was wondering do you turn on shape dynamcs for thick-thin strokes while rendering, or do u leave it off until fine highlights and shadows?

Usually I just change brush size, even while doing details. The only time I use shape dynamics is when I'm doing linework, or hair, that sort of thing. Probably more effort than it's worth, but in all honesty I usually just forget to use shape dynamics.

Do you use a round brush at different opacities in all of your paintings?

Pretty much, yep. Unless I'm trying to work texture in there, or if I need size variation for things like strands of hair, I usually use the hard-round opacity brush as my go-to.
