It's done!! A request forHere's Dark Link fighting Link in the Water Temple. Dark Link appears to have the upper hand but we all know who'll win!
Water is a damn pain to draw! But I don't think it looks too bad
I always loved this battle and had been meaing to draw it for a long time. So thanks Falchion1984 for giving me the motivation to draw it and helping me realise I have nowhere near enough Legend of Zelda drawings in my gallery! Hope you like it!

Hey i love your painting i saw a pic on someones site and it was a digital art and it was the battle between dark link and link....i completely fell in love with it and i looked EVERYWHERE for it but now that i saw yours i think my search is over even if this isnt the same picture....
all this to say that your pic is as well drawn as a digital art and its perfect, COMPLETELY PERFECT!!!!!

When you think about it... Link cheated in that battle since it was 2 vs 1. lol. Navi, who represents Light in a way, and Link, who represents Time in a way, vs. Dark Link, who represents Shadow and Water in a way. I guess it might be fair after all... Hmm... idk.

Heh thanks! I sketch out the drawing with 2B pencil, ink it with Faber Castell PITT pens and colour it with coloured pencils.

I'm not sure what there is to say that my fellow reviewers have not said already. You have outdone yourself. The detail you put into this, the folds of the fabric, the trickles of sweat, the sparks flying from the clashing blades and the way the water ripples, is increadible. The pose and the expression, and the trickle of blood from Link's lips, also fit the pic very well. And, nice job on making Dark Link look evil. Red eyes, who doesn't like that on a demonci clone? Off hand, I really can't think of any criticisms to make. I almost criticized the water since it looked gray but then I remembered that the ceiling of the room where you fight Dark Link has an overcast cloud look and the water might be reflecting that. Anyhow, thanks ever so much for doing this and my compliments on a nigh flawless job. Catch you later.

Thanks, I'm so glad you like it! I'm glad you saw all the little details as well. They way I thought it Link would be a little beaten up at this stage even if it wasn't from Dark Link considering he'd been through half a temple to get there! Yeah I just remember the water being a little gray, and the ceiling and floor were a gray rock so I figured the water would take that tone. Again I'm glad you like it and I had fun drawing this one.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I'm even glader that it went so well. By the look of the reviews, I'm far from being the only one impressed. Yeah, having Link coming into the fight battered makes sense. OoT is amongst my favorite Zelda games but I'm hooked on TP so your notion didn't occur to me. Anyhow, I hope that you'll keep me in mind if you ever find yourself with nothing to do. There are other ideas on my list and I'm confident that you'd do great with them if you so chose. Thanks again and catch you later.
