drawn from a photograph in a 2005 issue of FADER magazine. i can't remember now who she was - a musician, probably.. seems strange i didn't make note of it, but...i just liked the picture, and wanted to transcribe it as faithfully as i could in number 2 pencil. i'm pleased overall, except with the awkwardness of the hand. better luck next time.
the reason for the title is that it seems to have about the right dimensions to be a bookmark. for those that do a lot of bathroom reading lol.

thank you very much! funny - in your tagline is an adverb that was almost in my artist comments here. a sentence about how the way the hand turned out discouraged me so badly that i 'hastily finished the rest' got deleted cuz i felt it was already a longer comment than this lil drawing needed. not that remarkable a coincidence, i know. if i had written and backspaced '..the hastily rendered toilet..' well, then i'd be spooked, lol.
