:::Hulk vs. Doomsday:::Fight! Both combatants show immediate aggression towards each other, but in the contest of rage, Doomsday has already won. The monster sprints towards Hulk going from 0 to 500 mph in a matter of yards sends him flying with a double fisted uppercut. The Hulk saved his face from the blow but is now defenseless as he plummets back to earth.
Doomsday takes advantage, leaping into the air and drop kicking Hulk, hastening his decent. Hulk explodes into the earth’s crust, cracking the landscape in half.
In a blur of green, Hulk retaliates, surprising Doomsday from the mushroom cloud of dust and dirt. Powered by his anger, Hulk smashes both palms on either side of Doomsday’s head. Shards of bone chip away as Doomsday shakes off the concussion and grabs his adversary. They wrestle to the ground, simulating an earthquake.
Hulk presses off the ground with all his might and once again takes them both upward. They soar for miles until they crash into a nearby mountain range. The impact causing an avalanche that buries them both.
Next it appears like the mountain itself detaches from the surface. Boulders are chucked eastward, then westward returning fire until the mountain is level. Doomsday charges at Mach 5 speeds only to have his fury redirected into a space with pivotal swing courtesy of the Hulk.
Weakened from the battle, the re-entry and impact is too much for Doomsday.
Results: Hulk wins…

Man, this is a tough call. Going from what we know, the Hulk has unlimited strength. The Beyonder stated that there was no finite element to his rage, which powers his strength. And lately, they've been depicting the Hulk as having at least some of Banner's intelligence. On the other hand, Doomsday can't be killed once and for all; even Imperiex either couldn't or didn't go to the trouble to do so. He recovered from near-total immolation. And, although he CAN be killed, he can't be killed TWICE the SAME WAY. Who would win? I'd love to see more.
(Not to sound cynical, but I guess it really depends on whose comic it is.)
On the other hand, consider: is there really any doubt as to who the "good guy" would have to be? Give you a hint: doesn't start with a "D".

Sorry this would not happen. Hulk would be slaughtered. I feel sorry for people who even thinks this is a fair fight.
All you people are aware that Doomsday "killed" Superman who'd have no trouble beating Hulk.
Not to mention Doomsday survived a blast that was alot greater than the Big Bang and just simply shrugged it off, which easily dwarfs Hulk's greatest feats.

Um...Hulk slaughtered Superman when they first met.
And Hulk only lost to those characters due to plot convenience. In World War Hulk, the Green Goliath defeated the Avengers, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, Doctor Strange, and many other heroes and villains in the Marvel Universe.
In reality, those like Black Widow, Captain America, Hawkeye, and Rocket Raccoon could get blown away by Hulk slamming his hands together.
Here are some of Hulk's greatest feats:
Obliterating a meteor the size of Earth with ONE punch.
Swam across the entire Pacific Ocean nonstop without tiring.
Survived being tossed into the Sun.
Fought and defeated Graviton, a villain who has the power of gravity itself.
When fighting Galactus, he withstood a force 100 times greater than the largest black hole in existence. This same force was pushing down THOR.
At one point, Thanos himself stated that he has doubts about fighting the Hulk, because in his words, "I fear the aftermath."
S.H.I.E.L.D puts Hulk at Omega Level Threat, the kind of threat usually attributed to Galactus or Thanos.
Held the fabric of the universe together so the universe wouldn't end.
Fought the Devil...and WON.
Matched Superman's strength.
And finally...he sucker punched a 1 trillion ton monster into space.

I'm not debating who would win, since i don't care that much about either character BUT would you mind telling me which author wrote that shit about Doomsday and the Big Bang blast?!
I mean, even for comic standards this is RIDICULOUS!!!
If this is true, they really jumped the shark there.
The Big Bang contained all the energy of the universe, including all the matter of the universe being energy before becoming matter. Not even all the energy emitted by all the stars in the universe right now comes even close to the amount of Big Bang energy. Our galaxy alone has 400billion stars and there are approximately 170billion galaxies in the observable universe - do the math!
Superman is powered by just one average yellow sun and even just by the tiniest fraction of energy this sun emitted since he arrived on earth - and look what that "bit" of energy enables him to do. Doing the math, if Doomsday can easily survive a blast more powerful than the Big Bang, he wouldn't even feel it, if Supes absorbed all the energy of our sun (effectively "killing" it) and then hit him... nor would he feel it, if Supes absorbed all the energy of all 400billion (BILLION!!!) stars of our galaxy and hit him... nor would he feel it, if Supes absorbed all the energy of all stars of all 170billion galaxies (approximately 1024 stars) - SEE HOW RIDICULOUS THAT IS???!!!
PS: Yes, i know i used "real world science" on a comic book, which isn't good form, but this Doomsday feat is so far out, that it simply became too much for me to swallow.

Hulk could throw Doomsday into space, where he would harmlessly float around like a rubber duck in a whirlppool. Hulk strength is limitless when he's angry and eventually he could just crush doomsday's bones to dust. Plus, Hulk - even 'savage' hulk - can be a smart fighter.

Nope. You see while Hulk has had many impressive feats. They pale in comparison to Doomsday who actually survived a blash that was ALOT greater than the Big Bang.

Hulk doesn't need to breathe, the gamma radiation in his body is constantly killing and remaking every cell in his body so his heart only beats once before being remade and his lungs are constantly renewing so he doesn't need air

You know, the more I learn about Doomsday, the less impressed I am by him. On the wikipedia, they go on about how he doesn't need to eat or breath or anything, but at the same time, he's little more than a frightened, angry baby who just happens to be strong enough to swat away most of the stuff that bugs him.
The Hulk is not only fearless, but in many of the recent incarnations, he possesses Banner's intelligence, and be quite the canny, scheming fighter. His strength still increases with his rage, he heals every bit as quickly as Doomsday, and can fight at peak performance for days without need for rest. Put it all together, and in my mind, there's no doubt that Doomsday would be toast.

I still lean towards Doomsday. Why because he was designed to be the perfect weapon, which means he more than adaps to anything. He'd be smart enough to make him fight him underwater and he he ruthless. HE stepped on a little girl just because she was in his way.

The only problem and weakness of the hulk is Banner. World War Hulk was suppose to be his pinnacle power at the time. However, he fought The Sentry and reverted back to Banner. Yes I do understand that The Sentry had Unlimited Powers! However, Doomsday is designed to come back powerful enough to destroy what defeated him. If you take the Hulk from WW Hulk, Vs, Doomsday After his death at the hands of the Kryptonians, My money is all on Doomsday.
