Description

At the time of this tutorial 'VRM2PmxConverter' was version 0.5 (meaning these things may have been fixed?)

Also the current version of Vroid Studio was version 0.8.2 (it may update idk)

Links referred to in the panels (in order+extra):

 MacaronTeaCupBaby's model resizing tutorial
(The tutorial I was actually looking for must have been privated bc I can't find it anymore. Refer to below (1) for help) but in order to make them less wonky here is Entzminger500's eye bone fix tutorial

 Chilkad's Semi-Standard bones tutorial

  • Ok. So mask everything except the irises and eye-highlights (I'm gonna assume you know how to find them), then rig the eye and its highlight to the corresponding eye bone at 100. (get every vertex or else it will distort)

  •  I renamed the material names ahead of time as well. Forgot to mention that in panel 1.

  •  No I don't know how to fix the weird thing that happens to the hair without the vroid effect on the model. (not shown, but that's also an issue)

  • (edit 4/4/20: I actually do know how to fix it. It's has to do with how reflective parts of the mesh are. You can change this with the option near the opacity option.)

    Extra help:
Japanese bone names  (helpful if you wanna properly name your new eyebones)
PMXEditor  (If you don't have it (PMDEditor is the same thing, but supports less vertices))
Comment your issues so perhaps others can learn off of your own mistakes and I can try my best to help you.
This speed edit   I made on my youtube that was supposed to be this tutorial before I over complicated everything. So instead I sped the process up. Watch it if you need a reference for what I've done.

I have a problem with all my models, they can't bend their legs and the last bone from the legs look really short, I connected with the bones from the feet and still has the same problem, I can't move the legs, I only can rotate them (also the colors from the textures look kinda grayish and I tried changing the colors and putting another texture and it looks the same, most of the time darker )

No, it's fine, I fix it, hm...but...about the bones...you know the popular TDA models with the IK bones and etc, they move smoothly, while the VRoid ones not, I added the IK bones and other bones but...they still have some problems, so I was thinking...what if instead of coping the bones from my TDA models, I erase some bones from the VRoid and put the same bones from my TDA models, in less words, connect a new set of bones (it's weird to explain and maybe I'm insane)
