Description
Yet another commission from the same player as The Assassin of Thor, this one featuring the character before his the slaying of his master and his fall from grace. The player has had a lot of art done featuring this character, but in all of it, I noticed that there really wasn't much dealing with the fact that he was the earthly avatar of a god, so that's the angle that I decided to tackle. The main idea that stuck with me was the image of a pilgrim high atop a mountain (that is where your closest to the heavens after all) communing with the powers that be. However, as the setting for the game that the character is played in has a very urban environment, the mountain became a building.Medium: Watercolor and india ink on multimedia board

Now that is beautiful. The piece that really caught my eye from the City Scoop page (I'm a scanner, not a full reader) was the Nemesis Staff, and I think that is what ties it all together so perfectly.

Thanks though. That Nemisiss staff of TA's is one of the major elements that brought this composition up. I wanted something kind of "mystic on the mountain" like from the piece and his nemmie staff just made the perfect stand in for the wizards staff.

Yup... that's actually the angle I really wanted to play up. In all of the art he has had done, very little to none of it really deals with him being the bloody avatar of a god. I tried to hammer at that and got close, but I think I could have gotten closer. maybe if there's a next time, I can really zero in on that aspect.
