i asked people on tumblr what theyd like to see a tutorial done on and they said HAIR and i was like OKso thats why this is thin because it was made to work on tumblr mainly

I have a question though! Why shouldn't you use saturated red?

it looks very unnatural! i raised the saturation of the hair in the piece for an example: [link]
ouch! it hurts my eyes. It would look even worse if you started with that red as the base and shaded it while working off that color.
and plus, this tutorial is teaching you how to shade in my style. i never use saturated colors.
