Description heh...kay so this is what I do for lineart.

its not a very...simple way..i suppose.
nor is it a perfect way, or the only way or the right way, but its how i do and its worked out pretty well so far.

sorry my handwritting is awful DX

and if its hard to see or read

I use Paint tool sai!!!

if you have any quetions, or if i confused you to no end with this, please please please please ask me!! ill do what ever i can to answer any questions and to help you out!!

clean lineart isnt as hard as everyone thinks! ive learned that using multiple layers makes everything SOOO much easier...some people look at using a lot of layers as "cheeting" or some kinda tabu or something like that, personally, i say, if it works, who cares XD

i really hope this helps a bit >_<

Another way you can color your line art is by ticking Preserve Opacity on the line art layer and then coloring it the color you want Saves a bit of time having to make a new layer <3

I have problem with lines being clean, mine look always fuzzy and pixelish even though I don't use soft brush.

what size you normally draw chibi's and
when you resize it do you lose the quality.

i generally do a 3x3 canvas and use a 150-200 resolution, andif you crop the image you dont lose the quality, but if you take like the transformation tool or something like that and either make it bigger or smaller, than yes, youll lose some of the quality and youll get that pixely look

I tried drawing things on 300x300 canvas and resized them to 80x80. Lost lots of details and somehow it was blurry

try inches, try 8x11 thats a standard paper size, it should help with the pixel size a lot! or if youd liketo stay small a 3inch by 3inch canvas is a nice way to start, than work your way from there
>_< i hope this helps a bit!
