Sorry, I found it hard to explain this one ^^'

Never forget to experiment with different ways of allowing the hair to fall. Play about with it as long as you want until you get it just the way you want it. If you need to, look up references using other anime characters as reference for the hair. Drawing hair is hard, it's one of my weaknesses, but once you get enough practice, you find it easier and easier. Remember, the key to drawing hair is to use quick and thin brush strokes. Don't linger with your pen too much. Always use fast sweeps, particularly when coming up with the hairstyle during the sketch stage. Always taper your hair strands to a fine point, unless you are doing a specific style of hair, though most hairstyles require thin strands of hair.

Avoid using triangular points for the hair. There's a fine line between making it look professional (Like how PokΓ©mon's artists draw it) or making it look like a 5 year old's drawing who's just started trying to draw anime.

Remember to keep the natural sweep of the hair. Don't keep the hair too straight, otherwise it looks very unnatural. Don't be afraid to add slight curves. And remember gravity needs to be considered when drawing hair When hair is in a ponytail, it comes out straight ever so slightly, then gravity kicks in and it falls. [link]

Although some hairstyles drawn in anime are gravity defying (Like, for example, the fringe/bangs I drew covering her left eye), you must keep this to a minimum. Again, there's a fine line between making it look like a well-drawn anime unrealistic hairstyle and making it look like it's styled using cement.

Keep it simple until you have mastered the basics of drawing hair. Practice drawing basic anime hair styles like the following:

... before you start working on more extreme hairstyles, like the following:

If this tutorial isn't helpful enough, (And I have a feeling it won't) I can upload a sketch dump of different hair styles how I would draw them.
