OKAY!!!so ive never really had art lessons so i cant really help you guys out too much with all the fancy art terms, and super fancy way of doing things
i learned through practice and hard work, and you can do the same!!!
this little tutorial is just to show some BASIC things.
for the anatomy one, i was trying to say dont just draw the clothes with out drawing the rest of the body, if you draw out the body first, and then draw the clothes on, your anatomy is less likely to look distorted or weird....or something like that...
please feel free to ask any and all questions!!! ill post your questions in the description so others dont ask the same question and dont have to go scrolling down to see if someone already asked it.

hahah well ive never had art lessons, so i can really onlly describe brief things...because i just dont know a smart way of explaining it XD lol yeah i intend on making tutorials for eyes, girl annatomy vs boy anatomy, chibis, and i think i might try to do one for line art....lol im not really good at anything else so i cant really give advice on things im not good at XD

What software do you use? You could do a tutorial for that. And line art is super good, that'd be a popular tutorial I think.

Sai, is problematic for me. Partly because I'm pretty sure that there's something wrong with Sai on my computer.

yeah it works slow on some peoples computers

Slow, and blocky it seems. Like, none of the lines I draw turn out normal, as in the way they do on PS.

try changing the stabalizer in SAI, its located at the top of the program to the right. set it to 15 then try drawing, it might help a tad

thanks, it seems to work better now (I've had Sai for a year but never actually did that...fail). Also, what're your thoughts on brush settings and such?

hehe welcome XD hmm...haha idk i dont ususally mess with them too much...the brush i used the most is the airbrush though. if you keep it on the hardest setting and full opasity, and with the 15 stabalizer, it just flows nicely haha but thats really the only brush i use XD...er well for outlines anyway. ill use the marker tool for for the clothes, and the water tool from some highlights and blending. but i dont really mess with the settings XD

Hm, I'll have to try out the airbrush more because I honestly never thought about using it for anything but backgrounds.

Yeah, whenever I find an artist that I like on DA I do whatever I can to see if they have a youtube account. Half the time they don't and I just sorta cry in a corner. good artists, you u no make a thousand speedpaints for me to drool over? And tutorials too~

Well... I er do love macs. But I know all the reasons as to why you would need/want a pc. And some pcs look pretty badass. (and the games....oh god)

i respect you for that btw...for not thinkin macs are the only all powerful cocmputer and theyre the only ones that deserve to be computers! if that makes sense lol
