Description
Here's the part that goes on under the (short) breast plate. It is Bill's design and is more comfortable than it looks. We have taken to calling it my metal corset. It laces at the back and the straps are there to attach it to the back plate.This is part of the armour I'm making for myself with Bill at South Tower Armouring Guild.

The fauld looks like it's extended all the way, have you thought of putting an internal leather in the centre? If you rivet it to the lower edges of the lames, only the rivet/rivets on the bottom lame will be visible.
