Description The same as my B&W but preserved in color.

The best part about this photo is that at 100% it looks as though it was painted on canvas, but it's just the result of the filters I used on the original photo (that was HORRIBLE with loads of defects).

To answer all of your questions, unfortunately this tiger is always chained. The tiger is at the Subic Bay Zoo in the Philippines and is used as a prop for photos with the tourists who can pay a small fee. I thought it was pretty sad that it was constantly drugged with something in the milk that the handlers kept feeding it but I guess that was to keep the animal from getting feisty and attacking one of the tourists because they do unchain the tiger to position the animal for the photo and the surrounding fencing is only waist high. So if they didn't keep the tiger drugged it could take the opportunity to maul its handler and escape back into the jungle.

The picture is reminding that in the scope of captivity, one could be purist in thought in that a captive tiger is captive no matter what or take into consideration that most tigers these days are kept in a pseudo-natural environment.

The only thing that I don't like about it is that it's chained. Is the tiger always chained like that?

I was thinking the same thing. Hard to be at peace when chained down. =\
