Description
A bit of backstory for GO (who, I'll remind whoever need be, is based on myself): I was once a painfully-shy, anxious kid. I've since outgrown that to a large degree (now it's my mother who's painfully clingy toward me). But if I were to ever write a profile for Gray, as I have with my captive OCs' ref sheets, that would factor into it.Related content

D'aw. Why you so cute in orca form? <3
I was shy too. But also more open and happy. <3 Like Laya. ;D
Love this drawing. c:

Probably because IRL I don't think I am. But everyone tries to tell me otherwise.
Thanks.

When I was smaller-er, I used to sit quiet in class and be so silent, that some of my present friends found it scarey o.o'...however, I've been getting better over the last 2 years thanks to my friends, I'm more social nowadays, but still a lot reserved, I can't help it
Gray looks adorable there, just like any shy baby is

Same here. Even among my coworkers, I'm only selectively chatty with those I know better than those I don't see as frequently.
Thank you.

You really captured her shyness well, I love how she is peeking from her mothers fluke That is actually how I am with my husband. He is the social butterfly and I just follow him around haha

Thanks.
That's how some relationships tend to go. Even when out shopping with my mother, I tend to let her do all the talking to whomever we run into, while I just zone out to my iPod.

Aw shy little cutie! I was much the same as a kid but I've since outgrown most of my shyness. XD

Thanks.
I know how that goes. Given the right circumstances, I still turn pretty bashful from time to time.

This is adorable I've always been curious to know more about GO and her family.

Thanks.
I might just write a summary of that sometime (once I figure out what I do and don't want her to embody), and update her ref sheet to include a modified profile tailored in the way the report of a wild orca's biography might be.

Might do that if I find myself putzing around tonight. Three paintings seems like enough for today, so...

I'm jealous, haha! I wish my art block wasn't still plaguing me. I miss drawing...

You've got a lot of work on your plate right now with the renovation going on. It's understandable.
Just keep some notes for ideas you have, but want to act on later.

Thanks.
I hope to go live with my grandmother in Georgia at some point. That'd be about the only arrangement my mother would accept, in regard to me leaving home.

Daaaw this is so cute!
I can relate, as a child I was normally glued to one of my parents during social events.

Same here. Even now, I don't branch out beyond a few close friends. And the few times I've left home, my mother wouldn't stop crying about it until I came back.

Yeah, I'm the same, though I think my shyness has evolved into more anti-socialness...

Depends on the situation, for me. Now that I have work as a cashier, I simply divide my attention into two 'modes': business while on the job, and quiet recluse at home.
