Continuing in the 'tradition' of refusing toΒ pretentiously title my OCs' 'realism' portraits. This one is for Mosai, my newest girl. Her lip markings are my favorite trait about her.

I think I finally found the right balance between my form of lineart and what size portrait to make of it. And adding more splashes of color in the shading/highlights doesn't hurt either. Thank you.

I just use the default line tools to trace my sketch in red, save, open it againΒ in GIMP and then use the layer tools to separate the red lineart from
the sketch onto a clean white background. Go back to MS Paint for the touchup work, then back to GIMP for coloring once I have a lineart I like. Sounds more complicated than it actually is.
