Description
After days of wandering the sandy wastes, the old merchant and his daughter finally stumble upon some civilization. Another town, another market... At least the Tolvader will have time to rest.My buddy let me design my own of her closed species, Tolvaders
I couldn't resist, domesticated animals are 10x more fun to design. Initially I was inspired by scottish highland cows and traditional garbs of yaks in Nepal, but I guess inspiration took me somewhere else altoghether You can see more of these gorgeous creatures here:

It's a beautiful and happy scene as they enter the city and the young girl happily checks out the surroundings. For her it must be rather exciting, even though her weary father clearly finds this to be old hat by now. The two plus their charming beast make quite a lovely trio. Beautiful work on the "neo-mythical" creature carrying all of the man's most-important things. It's quite an intriguing design, beautifully executed and adorned so cutely with the collar, headband, blanket, bags, etc. Nice work on the hot and hazy view of the town's basics as they make their way to the markets too.
