Wonder why no one has ever thought of placing a shield emitter in the center of the light saber?
Would've saved the jedi some trouble of always spinning their light sticks around to block attacks, especially from driodekas!

Probably because it wouldn't fit. They could always make it out of lightsaber-resistant material like phrik, but Kun never really had to worry about that. His double-bladed saber wasn't any bigger than a regular lightsaber.
