Sunny and Hot Rod have found a faster, shinier, much bigger ship to travel around and are now attempting to pull a Jack sparrow and navigate this thing by themselves.
So, good luck boys.
Also, Hot rod is worried about the ‘unconscious’ guys with the red eyes that Sunny incapacitated while he ordered Hot Rod to make a diversion (cause Sunstreaker knew that telling the kid to hide was not gonna work)
…unknown to him the guys are actually dead, so I guess now Hot Rod and Sunstreaker are gonna have a looong conversation about the history of cybertron and the Decepticon/autobot conflict.
Continuation image for this one ; in my headcannon, Sunstreaker found a very young Hot Rod in a deserted planet, and not being as heartless as many autobots would like to pretend, he is dragging him along in his search for Sideswipe.
Of course, Hot Rod has never met a Cybertronian, so he has a lot of things to learn about his race.

I dunno about Sides, I mean, he's the sole reason Sunny began this journey, but he probably won't appear until season 5 of this headcannon of mine! or maybe like the cliffhanger before the end of season 1....mmhh... Sides is like that one time Sherlock pretended to be dead but wasn't, or that character who is not supposed to be there but appear anyway right before the ending of the movie....Sides is like Thanos, or Loki, yeah, that's my impression of Sides in this movie---er I mean, comic!
