Description
Told you I made more, I don't want to clog up my notebook with TLK characters however, since they take up a page each, so these will be the last for a while----------

---------------
08/05/2019 edit: updated the art and changed a couple of Kopa's colors. I would've actually updated this sooner, but as I was working on it yesterday (I had just finished Kopa) SAI crashed and I lost EVERYTHING.
I got so angry I couldn't draw for the rest of the day; I had to do everything today.
----------------
In order:
- My design for good ol' Kopa, dunno where everyone got the meaning of his name, because the translator gave me this (which kind of makes sense since he looked so much like simba as a cub).
I tried incorporating the "fluffy" part by giving him lots of fur. He doesn't really want the responsability of being king, but what make him decide to leave was when his mane tuft starts to grow in and his parents tell him about his bethrothal with a princess from another pride (he tought she was just a friend that he got to meet every now and then, he had no idea he'd have to marry her), so he runs away from the pridelands. Nala figured out that would happen, and in the end her and Simba send Mheetu after him; they end up living with a pride of wandering rogues. The scars are from him being a hot head and clashing with random rogues and other predators.
- Who's this. I took inspiration from a recently discovered "cave painting" in a TLG phone game, and made it into the first king of the Pridelands. I tried to make his mane all white and curly, but it just wasn't working, so I came up with this instead. He's a big boy. His muzzle shape is quite unique, I took it all from the cave painting and I think it shows.
- Last we have my design for Mufasa and Taka's mom, Uru. Not 100% set on the colors, but I tried to separate her from the usual designs I see around by making the stripe on her head cover up the nose. At this point I didn't know who to draw, and I realized I only drew males, so I settled on her. She's usually depicted to be Mohatu's daughter, but I have her as a rogue. I need to rework her momma's design.
Also, I neglected to mention on the other one, I'm coloring these on my phone, that's why they look wonky in some points.
edit: now that I moved the layered file on my PC I added the nose gradients

ya google translate should be taken with a grain of salt tbh
this blog is entirely swahili translations from what appears to be an honest translator (a person rather than i bot, i mean) that reaffirms what was stated in the book kopa showed up in iirc; makopa (shortened to kopa) is swahili for 'heart' as in the card suit!
swahili-land.blogspot.com/2011…
that said, 'copy' is much more fitting imo tbh
