Keep it simple I said, just a sketch I said. Do you have any idea how long this took. Too long that's how long.

Aaaanyway I wanted to play around with the various cave paintings in the Lion guard's lair, mostly bc I changed my mind on how I want to tackle the guard itself, at least in part.
On top of that I decided to move Askari back to the first generation, it didn't make much sense to have him be the brother of the third king, now he'll be one of Shetani's half-siblings.

Now, not all these characters will make the cut, mostly because there are literally not enough generations on my family tree between the first guard and the last on this page (the one before Scar's). For some of them I already decided who they'll be and where on the timeline; namely the whole first row (with the exception of the braves, I may tweak him), most of the second and most of the last, while the first guy on the third row will replace Askari as Dhahabu's brother and Mohatu's father.

All of this also means Askari is finally free for me to join in on the gay Askari HC >:3c he'll be dating the strongest from his guard bc big burly boyfirends = yes pls.

I'm so tired.
